Surveyor Services –

Housing Disrepair Services –
Should your client be involved in a housing disrepair claim at MLA, we can provide an experienced Chartered Surveyor to attend to the property in question.
They will then complete a thorough Part 35 report on the alleged items to be in a state of disrepair. This report will detail which items breach the express repairing obligations contained in the tenancy agreement between landlord and tenant.
The report will cover all covenants contained in the following:
S9A, S10 and S11 Landlord & Tenant Act 1985
and/or
S4 Defective Premises Act 1974
A Chartered Surveyor provided by MLA will inspect the property both internally and externally, assessing each item of disrepair with the scrutiny and attention to detail your client’s case deserves.
An expert opinion will then be provided on each item in your client’s disrepair dispute regarding cause with supporting photos and in-depth analysis that includes associated costs.
