APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers) is a not-for-profit organisation that has been fighting for the rights of injured people for over 25 years. The annual conference took place at the prestigious Royal Horseguards Hotel at One Whitehall, London, on Friday 11th October.

We were delighted to sponsor and attend the event which is now in its seventh year. Julie and Erin enjoyed talks from Ahmed Al-Nahhas and David White who delved deeper into harassment and bullying, highlighting that just 6% of those who reported harassment or discrimination actually made a complaint. Theo Huckle delivered a compelling speech on the Q Fever Litigation and the lessons learned so far - and Chris Lindsey gave a very passionate, thought-provoking talk on the Broughton House Veteran Care Village and the big plans for the future. Simon Quinn also led a very exciting panel discussion on Non-Freezing Cold Injuries, inviting delegates to ask questions and voice their opinions.

Throughout the event, Julie and Erin took the time to network with other industry professionals, sharing experiences working within the Military Claims sector and talking candidly about the industry-leading work with do here at MLA.
