The ISO 27001 accreditation is an information security standard and it specifies a management system which requires us to do the following: 

• Develop systematic examinations of MLA’s information security risks, taking account of threats, vulnerabilities and impacts. 
• Implement a design into a coherent and comprehensive suite of information security controls and other forms of risk treatment.
• Adopt an overarching management process to make sure the information security controls continue to meet MLA’s needs on an ongoing basis.
