We’re delighted to receive ISO 27001 accreditation. This certification recognises the hard work we put into creating a reliable information security management system and ensures we are consistently providing a high quality service to our clients.
The ISO 27001 accreditation is an information security standard and it specifies a management system which requires us to do the following:
- Develop systematic examinations of MLA’s information security risks, taking account of threats, vulnerabilities and impacts.
- Implement a design into a coherent and comprehensive suite of information security controls and other forms of risk treatment.
- Adopt an overarching management process to make sure the information security controls continue to meet MLA’s needs on an ongoing basis.
We always put the needs of our clients first and go above and beyond to meet their expectations. The decision to work towards ISO 27001 was driven by our commitment to continuously improving our service, as well as being recognised for the high standards we pride ourselves on.
“At MLA, we’re aware that data security is of the utmost importance for all of our clients and customers which is why we’re constantly investing in this area. The ISO 27001 accreditation is just one of the ways we give our customers peace of mind that their information is safe in our hands.” Michael Shallcross, Head of Operations
This accreditation closely follows our recent Cyber Essentials Plus award – a government-backed and industry supported scheme created to guide organisations on how to protect their infrastructure against cyber security threats.
