Case Manager – ID/Military/Complex
Liverpool city centre
We are excited to seek an experienced and motivated Case Manager to join our Operations team. You will be responsible for independently managing a caseload, ensuring efficient handling and resolution of instructions and queries. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of complex cases and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Manage a caseload of complex files, including industrial disease, EL/PL, Action
Against the Police, and other personal injury claims.
▪ Liaise with clients, solicitors, medical experts, and other stakeholders to progress
cases efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Arranging required diagnostics and treatment in agreement with our customers,
keeping track of client progress and ensuring our customer is kept up to date.
▪ Conduct thorough case reviews, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural
requirements.
▪ Prepare and maintain accurate case documentation and correspondence.
▪ Co-ordinate and schedule medical examinations and expert witness reports, which
meet the solicitors’ instructions.
▪ Monitor case timelines and deadlines, taking appropriate action to avoid delays.
▪ Provide regular updates to clients and solicitors regarding case progress.
▪ Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and
service delivery.
Requirements:
▪ Proven experience managing a caseload of complex personal injury claims, including
industrial disease and/or other similar cases.
▪ Strong understanding of medico-legal processes and relevant legislation.
▪ Excellent organisational and time management skills.
▪ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
▪ High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and case management.
▪ Proficiency in using case management software and Microsoft Office applications.
▪ Ability to work independently and make informed decisions within the scope of the
role.
Desired Skills:
▪ Previous experience working within a medico-legal agency or solicitor firm.
▪ Knowledge of claim processes and procedures related to personal injury and
industrial disease claims.
